“Yours To Take” written by Elana Belle Carroll Late at night I come on home Waiting for the moment we’re alone Hoping you’ll have some good news to say I come inside You’re by my side And next to me I can feel you hiding From all your dreams and fears that run you down So what can a poor girl say? I can’t hide with you I can’t run away I wish that you could see there is a way To live with love To dream out loud To be weird proudly But I can’t give you that cause it’s yours to take And so I light one up Beneath the stars You hate my smoking but quitting’s too hard I never meant to make you mad like that And silently you’re on the couch With your phone just drowning out Or drowning in the world We call “today” So what can a poor girl say? I can’t hide with you I can’t run away I wish that you could see there is a way To live with love To dream out loud To be weird proudly But I can’t give you that cause it’s yours to take

"Brother Forever" Always wanted to leave Never wanted to stay So she packed her bags and went She got up in the morning Packed favorite furs And diamond chip on her left hand She never thought he’d do it Hurt her when she’s pregnant But always she was good at pretend She thought she was protected Could go undetected Living in another land Oh, jewelry Jewelry and diamonds Jewelry Jewelry and diamonds Living in the city Living in the city Living in the city, oh (Repeat) Always wanted to keep Roaming but my brother He was just a baby boy Daddy, he was dead and Mama was a drunk and So she wanted to avoid them Hold me Hold me Hold me in the palm of your hand Hold me Hold me No one here can understand Daddy was a killer Mommy was unlucky And every single sister’s married So come into the city Come in from the country Where everyone is bored as hell Hold me Hold me Hold me in the palm of your hand Hold me Hold me No one here can understand Living in the city Living in the city Living in the city, oh (Repeat) Jewelry and diamonds Living in the city Living in the city Living in the city, oh (Repeat)

Beer Lust 03:22
You think I want some more I think you want me more than you believe We’re dancing on the floor And for this song I want you close to me Tell me something that I don’t know Hypnotize me cradle my soul Every time I wanna relax This is the place I’ll come back to And when I move this way I feel the air of four dimensions sing And so I’d to stay Through the night and through the morning rays Tell me something that I don’t know Hypnotize me cradle my soul Every time I wanna relax This is the place I’ll come back to Da da da da

I'm so sorry that I break my promises Tryna make it to the other side I try to answer all your questions honestly But everybody's got their pride I heard you saying that I don't know consequence That I never have you on my mind I think I'm gonna need another second chance I never meant to make you cry The only one for me You were my fantasy The one I dream of when I see my future So take me somewhere So take me somewhere Yeah we're going to the party Gonna make it right, make it right tonight And if I can I'd like to be a helping hand What can I do to help the days go by? "Get out of bed" that's what they said "don't lose your head" And "I'm hoping that the day today don't make me cry" New medication No hesitation The social pressure Keeps getting better The only one for me You were my fantasy The one I dream of when I see my future So take me somewhere So take me somewhere Yeah we're going to the party Gonna make it right, make it right tonight

I know I shouldn’t be here But I’m waiting for moments to come That you say I shouldn’t be here And I’m feeling alright cause I’m wasted And it’s time to go the whole night And it’s all right I’m falling down Don’t hit the ground I’m here to dance I’ll take a chance And talk to you Feel like a fool When you don’t want To talk to me too Can’t tell you why I can’t believe what’s happening right here Can’t tell you why I can’t believe what’s happening right here Can’t tell you why why why why why why why why I know I shouldn’t be here Cause I've been here before and I think That I said I’d take a breather And I’m feeling alive I can taste it And I wanna see the sun rise And it’s all right

Fuckboi 02:58
Show me Someone’s tryna own me My parents never call And when they do they’re crying I don’t know what to tell them So I say keep trying I’m not the goalie I’m not only to bring this down I have no alliance I have no relation My preference is my essence You can change to the station I’m not the goalie I’m not only to bring this down Get a goal (repeat) You fuck me 'til I’m senseless Doesn’t mean that you please me But tell me how you like it Let’s just keep this easy I’m not the goalie I’m not only to bring this down You don’t know how I know you I have solved your mysteries The only clue I went from Was your browser history I’m not the goalie I’m not only to bring this down Get a goal (repeat) I never learned to improvise But someone’s tryna show me My parents never call And when they do they’re crying I don’t know what to tell them So I say keep trying I’m not the goalie I’m not only to bring this down Get a goal (repeat)

Cut To Bleed 03:19
I’ve been dreaming these days I can’t tell sleeping from awake sometimes in the morning I can’t escape I wonder if this medication’s to blame These dreams never feel right It seems I’m looking for a fight I’m scared to take apart the stories they tell I think I know the plot line all too well But the obstacles I’m facing and living everyday Will all be fine Predictable ain’t nothing and nothing ain’t no fun I’m drowned by silence Give me some air to breathe Don’t need a cut to bleed I’ve been thinking again That entertainment is a sin The way we treat our people breaks my heart Seeing women in the movies tears me apart But the obstacles I’m facing and living everyday Will all be fine Predictable ain’t nothing and nothing ain’t no fun I’m drowned by silence Give me some air to breathe Don’t need a cut to bleed
8.
Eden 03:12
"Eden" I’m hoping that I learn to be alone I’m learning that I get too close Obsession with myself is hard to find I won’t possess you cause I love what’s mine I am my own Eden I don’t need you praying for me It’s my own religion Living for the best of me I’m the one, I’m the one, oh I’m the one, I’m the one, for me honey I’m the one, I’m the one, oh I’m the one, I’m the one, for me honey Romancing in my room all by myself How weird is it if I feel fine You know that we all die by ourselves I could impress you but I’m wasting time I am my own Eden I don’t need you praying for me It’s my own religion Living for the best of me I’m the one, I’m the one, oh I’m the one, I’m the one, for me honey I’m the one, I’m the one, oh I’m the one, I’m the one, for me honey I am my own Eden (repeat) I’m the one, I’m the one, oh I’m the one, I’m the one, for me honey I’m the one, I’m the one, oh I’m the one, I’m the one, for me honey
9.
Valentine 04:44
"Valentine" It’s Tuesday, it’s Tuesday I, I I’ve been sleeping way too long I’ve been tryna write a song Sometimes you make me feel good Sometimes I’m misunderstood When I go I wish I’d stayed When I yell you walk away Where did my dreams go? Where did this kiss go? Are you still playing with me? I’ve been rambling for some time Waiting for it to fall in line Watching children come to life Never wondering “what’s this, what’s this?” Where did my dreams go? Where did this kiss go? Are you still playing with me? Where can this sun go? Where can this love go? Are you still waiting for me? Take the trash out It’s Tuesday Take the trash out It’s Tuesday Always wondering “What’s this?” (Repeat) Oh are we playing?

I've been feeling like it's about time to settle down Last night I was out on the town for the last time I've been thinking about you In my arms I've been thinking about you...

Effexor 03:20
One day you’ll come back to me One day you’ll come back to me in a way One day you’ll come right back to me I’m open I’m open to another Keep em coming I can take it I’ll take a pill Gimme gimme something Ima keep on looking I don’t wanna feel like this  Gimme gimme something Ima keep on looking I don’t wanna feel like this Want to turn it off Want to scream and shout You never told me you feel that way You feel that way every day I know you think it’ll pull me away I’m open to another Keep em coming I can take it I’ll take a pill Gimme gimme something Ima keep on looking I don’t wanna feel like this  Gimme gimme something Ima keep on looking I don’t wanna feel like this Want to turn it off Want to scream and shout I can never tell What’s gonna happen to me Oh all the flowers On the seashore And on the mountains Gimme gimme something Ima keep on looking I don’t wanna feel like this  Gimme gimme something Ima keep on looking I don’t wanna feel like this Want to turn it off Want to scream and shout I can never tell What’s gonna happen to me
12.
I can’t move When you told me how You want me gone Cause you’re all done Just when I was getting better You could go and take forever  From me I’m nobody When you don’t want me We used to dream closely Wake me when it’s over I can’t take this sober When you’re gone There’s something wrong I can’t go on I hope it won’t be long Before I give up to the never Ever gonna be together again Again I’m nobody When you don’t want me We used to dream closely Wake me when it’s over I can’t take this sober I don’t wanna let you down (repeat) I’m nobody When you don’t want me We used to dream closely Wake me when it’s over I can’t take this sober

When I get home from work I got more work to do It's all piling on And I could use some help from you We gonna break a sweat Uh-oh there's so much to get through We gonna get something done I know exactly what to do But each time I sit and I pull my books I see you hunting for some loving Boy, I know that look... Well it's a full-time job Just to give you all that love Keep pushing what I got to do To give you what you want And it don't measure up But oh I love the way you do Well it's a full-time job Just loving you Been working hard everyday And counting pennies on the side I hope you take it okay When I say I don't have much time to kill I got a lot going on I got my ducklings in a row You like to do what you want I hate to tell you but it shows But each time I sit and I pull my books I see you hunting for some loving Boy, I know that look... Well it's a full-time job Just to give you all that love Keep pushing what I got to do To give you what you want And it don't measure up But oh I love the way you do Well it's a full-time job Just loving you

about

Includes 4 "guitar/vocal version" bonus tracks and downloadable liner notes in 12" PDF format.

My first album was about love and money. This one is about booze, family and nighttime. The title comes from what they say after last call at a bar or a party, at the end of the night. Some of the songs were stragglers from my first record, and some were written while on tour or in between tours. I was drinking a lot, and eventually quit, so a lot of the lyrics are about a state of inebriation and time of night, the positive, negative and inbetween. Other songs touch more on feeling connected or disconnected from people you love. There is a lot of masking of the truth going on in the world today, and this permeated my music during the making of the album.
The majority of the album I worked with co-producer Benjamin Greenspan and mixer Ryan Nasci. The first single "Take Me Somewhere" was a collaboration with producer Summer Heart, and four songs I did alone at home (Dream Closely, Yours To Take, Cut To Bleed, and Time To Settle Down). In general I tried not to overwork anything and just let whatever wanted to come out, come out.
